Varieties
Clementines: One of the most popular mandarin varieties, often referred to as “the queens of mandarins.” They have an exceptionally rich and sweet flavor, are highly aromatic, and seedless. They peel very easily and ripen from November to early February. Their peel is fragrant due to its essential oils, which is why it is often used as a flavoring ingredient in desserts, creams, doughs, and more.
Nova: Juicy, large mandarins with an intense and deep reddish color. They have an excellent sweet taste and are seedless. Medium-sized and easy to peel. Harvested in January and February.
Ortanique: A particularly large mandarin variety with a vibrant orange color. It has a rich, sweet flavor and is especially aromatic. Also excellent for juice. Harvested from February to April.
